PearlNook is a small, forum-style home for personal blogs. It is free to read, and writers join by invitation.

How it fits together

  • Profiles are blogs. Each writer has a profile at pearlnook.com/handle with a portrait, a short bio, their shelves (categories) and every post they have published.
  • Topics are nooks. Posts are tagged with topics, and each topic becomes a nook (n/topic) that gathers posts from every writer.
  • Posts are threads. Readers can reply with only a name. Each reply is reviewed before it appears, so threads stay friendly.
  • Following is RSS. Every profile has its own feed, and the whole site has one at /feed.xml.
